By the grace of God I am what I am:
1 Cor. 15:10a
When you go shopping for food, clothing, or anything else and decide to make your payment to the store with a check, you are guaranteeing that payment when you sign your name at the bottom of the check.
You give the store owner a piece of paper that basically says when you take this to my banker he will give you the money I owe you. If you have demonstrated the ability to write a check that has nothing to back it up then people have a tendency to no longer accept your checks, they doubt your integrity.
...for thou hast magnified thy word above all of thy name.
God underwrites His Word with His own name. He is the one who guarantees that His Word will do what it says. God has integrity. God’s Word has integrity. What God has to say, He means. What God means, He says.
God has integrity.
God authored the Bible.
The Bible has the integrity of God.
God has used His Word to communicate to mankind His heart of love and understanding.
What God has accomplished to elevate mankind back into the Kingdom of God He has declared in His Word.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Not in two days, or two months but right then when God said it. God backs up His Word. God’s Word has power.
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword...
You can take God at His Word.
